This retreat offers a wonderful opportunity to
... immerse ourselves in practice together and get to know the essence of the Buddhist path, inspired by Rinpoche's wisdom and compassion.
This text is both part of the Path of Liberation program taught by Rinpoche and a Buddhist practice in its own way. The focus is more on the special devotion to meditation on the Nature of Mind.
This short practice guide brings central aspects of the path to life and makes them tangible. It serves as a compact reminder and guide for daily practice – clear in structure, deep in content. The text is also an understandable and profound introduction to Buddhism that appeals to both beginners and experienced practitioners.
The event aims to provide a valuable opportunity
... to familiarise ourselves with the text and use it as a basis for our own daily practice, as well as to practise guided Nectar of the Path meditations and open meditations together in a group. The practice offers those interested and meditators an inspiring guide that is also suitable for everyday use.
During the retreat, participants can expect an introduction to and in-depth practice of Nectar of the Path, guided and silent meditations, reflections, Q&A, group exchanges and periods of silence.
Who is the retreat aimed at and why should I participate?
Different circumstances require different methods, especially when it comes to the time that those interested can devote to their daily practice. For many people, life in the modern world is characterised by limited time available due to professional and family commitments.
Therefore, The Nectar of the Path is particularly well suited for people today who want to balance family, everyday life, work and practice.
Step by step, practitioners are guided through the practice text by Rinpoche's concise verses, which are always preceded by brief meditation instructions, and finally dwell on the nature of mind in meditation.
The event is open to people who are familiar with basic Buddhist principles and have at least three years of Buddhist meditation practice, or who have participated in a Nectar of the Path course or received pointing-out instructions on the nature of mind (e.g., Path of Liberation).
